My coins disappeared after reinstalling the app

We're sorry to hear that! Unfortunately, all in-game data in Towerific — including your coin balance, high score, level, and streak — is stored locally on your device. This means it is not backed up to any cloud service or server.

When you uninstall and reinstall the app, the local data is permanently deleted by your device's OS as part of the uninstall process. We have no way to recover it on our end.

Tip: To avoid losing your coins, make sure to keep the app installed and avoid uninstalling unless necessary. If you purchased coins through the App Store or Google Play, please see the FAQ below about restoring purchases.
How do I restore my purchases?

If you've previously purchased Remove Ads and want to restore it on a new device or after reinstalling, you can restore it for free:

  1. Open Towerific on your device.
  2. Tap the + (coin) button on the main menu to open the Get Coins screen.
  3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Restore Purchases.
  4. A prompt from Apple (iOS) or Google (Android) may appear asking you to sign in — follow the on-screen instructions.
  5. If your Remove Ads purchase is found, it will be automatically restored and ads will be removed immediately.
What can be restored: Only non-consumable purchases can be restored. The Remove Ads purchase is non-consumable and fully restorable at no charge. Coin packs are consumable items — once coins are spent in-game, they cannot be restored. This is standard behaviour for consumable in-app purchases.

An ad is not working or the screen is frozen

Occasionally, an advertisement may fail to load, become unresponsive, or cause the screen to appear frozen. This is usually caused by a temporary network issue or an ad loading error from the ad provider (Google AdMob).

Here's what to try:

  • Close and reopen the app: On iPhone, double-press the Home button (or swipe up and hold on Face ID models) and swipe up on Towerific to close it. On Android, use the Recents button and swipe away the app. Then relaunch from your home screen.
  • Check your internet connection: Ads require an active internet connection to load. Make sure you are connected to Wi-Fi or mobile data.
  • Restart your device: If the issue persists, restarting your device often resolves temporary glitches.

If you continue to experience frozen ads regularly, please contact us with details about your device model and OS version — we'll report it to Google AdMob.

How do I remove ads?

Yes! Towerific offers a Remove Ads in-app purchase that permanently removes banner, interstitial, and app-open ads from the game.

How to purchase: Tap the + (coin) button on the main menu → tap the Remove Ads card at the top → tap the price button to complete the purchase through Apple (iOS) or Google Play (Android).

What gets removed:

  • Banner ads (strip at the bottom of screens)
  • Interstitial ads (full-screen ads between game sessions)
  • App-open ads (shown when launching the app)

What stays: Rewarded ads remain available. These are opt-in only — you tap a button to voluntarily watch a short video in exchange for free coins. They are never shown automatically and are a benefit to you, not an interruption.

Is it permanent? Yes. Remove Ads is a non-consumable purchase — it is permanently tied to your Apple ID (iOS) or Google account (Android) and never expires. If you change devices or reinstall the app, you can restore it for free using the Restore Purchases button on the Get Coins screen.

If you prefer not to purchase, you can control whether ads are personalised:

  • iOS: Go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking and toggle Towerific off.
  • Android: Go to Settings → Privacy → Ads (Android 12+) or Settings → Google → Ads and opt out of ad personalisation.

This does not remove ads but makes them non-targeted (contextual only).

What are power-ups and how do I use them?

Power-ups are special in-game boosters that can give you an advantage during gameplay. They are purchased using coins — which you can earn by playing or buy through in-app purchases.

Power-ups available in Towerific include helpful tools to extend your tower, correct misaligned blocks, or gain extra chances when the game would otherwise end. Specific power-up details and effects are shown within the game UI before purchase.

How to use a power-up:

  1. During a game session, look for the power-up tray on the game screen.
  2. Tap a power-up icon to activate it (it will deduct the coin cost).
  3. The power-up effect is applied immediately to your current game.

Power-ups are consumable — each use deducts from your coin balance. They do not carry over between sessions once used.

How does the daily streak work?

The daily streak tracks how many consecutive days you have opened and played Towerific. It rewards you for building a consistent play habit!

How it works:

  • Open the game and play at least one round each day to keep your streak alive.
  • Each new day you play, your streak counter increases by 1.
  • If you miss a day (i.e., you do not play within a 24-hour window), your streak resets to zero.
  • Longer streaks unlock bigger daily rewards, including bonus coins.
Tip: The streak resets based on calendar days. Try to log in at roughly the same time each day to make sure you don't accidentally miss a day.

Streak progress is saved locally on your device. If you reinstall the app, your streak will be lost along with other local data — see the coins FAQ above for more details.
